    These mini calendars give me so much JOY! I teach 7 & 8th grade reading (Special Education) in a very rural community, Waianae, Hawaii 96792. The girls as well as the boys ask if they can use my note book to see what day it is or just to look at the calendars. That is a plus because they find very little interest at school. I teach reading and the joy that I see when they go from a 2nd grade level to a 4th or 5 th grade level is unbelievable! Of course, they get very, very angry many a day when I will not let them slide.
