{Free Printable} Out of Candy Halloween Door Sign

Here’s an oldie, resurrected from the old site …

Maybe you’ve been there… you know, when you run out of candy on Halloween night and have to shut off all the lights, stay quiet and pretend you’re not home?

Even though we often spend a small fortune in Halloween candy, it never fails that we fret about running out – and some years we HAVE run out! We’ve done the shutting-off-the-lights-thing, but it never fails that some little ghosties will still ring the doorbell! UM. Hello? Doesn’t it look like no one’s home?

8x10 sign

Candy Corn Pirate

If you have to be the bearer of bad news, might as well make that message look cute right?

I put mine in a black 8×10 frame, to put on a small table outside by the front door. But you could also simply tape it to the front door as well.

  5. This is adorable, thank you so much…I’m gonna print this for my mom who most always ends up running out of candy. My parents live in a very large, safe neighborhood and it is the place to go for many families. My dad had always counted (it made it fun to see how many kids came to the door) and after getting over 400 kids saying, “trick or treat”, the candy eventually always runs out!!

    • My Mom lives in that kind of neighborhood too! You’ll often see full SUV’s and mini-vans bringing the kids from other neighborhoods! They practically bus the kids in! It’s crazy!

  6. Hahaha!! This happens to me every year…love that I now have a sign for it. Why didn’t I ever think of that? Why are you so much smarter than me?? ;) Love it! and Thank You for sharing – your the best!
