{Reveal} Guest/craft room, Pt. 1

Whew! Gav’s party is over and our out-of-town guests have left. With all that excitement behind us, we can breathe easy again! I was a bad Momma and didn’t take not one single photo of the party (too much vino perhaps?!)! I’m real sad about it too because the candy buffet came out SUPER CUTE! I’m waiting/hoping that my Mom or Aunt has some photos to share. However… I do have something else equally fun to share!…

Remember when I posted my vision board for our guest/craft room here? Well I thought I’d share an update on how it’s come about to date. As with many things in life, it’s still a work in progress! The biggest thing to keep in mind is that this room was mostly set up with items we already had. We had very little budget to make this room happen. Although a “designer” room would have been nice, practicality won out! Enter in frugality, repurposing and some “I guess that will work”. Someday I plan to change/add things, like whenever a wad of cash just happens to land in my lap ;)

Ok, so that concludes Part 1 of the reveal. Stay tuned for Part 2!

  1. This is so cute, very organized and neat!

I have a question : is the bed frame sturdy? I’ve been looking at IKEA’s website and it seems as if they sell everything separately.

    • The bed is actually pretty sturdy! I’ve slept on it before with my 4-year-old and it wasn’t half bad! I think it’s just fine for a guest bed or small child.

  2. Love the colors. Especially love the lamp shade and reupholstered make up chair. Very chic!
